Institute for Integrated Hydro-Environment Research (IIHR) is a non-profit research-for-development organization based in Nepal. We aim to stimulate generation of knowledge and its application to solve critical problems in the field of water resources and environment. Our research activities follow a holistic and integrated approach to expand understanding of regional and global issues. We specialise in areas ranging from fluvial hydraulics to sustainable water resources development and management, through to eco-hydraulics, hydro-informatics and water induced disasters including effects of climate change.
